WHO CAN ENTER?
Any commercial nail salon that opened in its current location, and in its current name, prior to 1 February 2023 (12 months or more).
The nail salon must attain at least 70% of its treatment revenue from hand, foot and nailcare services and have two or more members of staff. The nail salon delivers an exceptional service, from the booking process to the treatment itself and recommendation of retail/aftercare products, and the team is personable, skilled and friendly.
Any salon that offers nail services alongside beauty services (with these nail services contributing to less than 70% of the overall business treatment revenue) must enter the Nail & Beauty Salon of the Year category instead.
This category is NOT suitable for home-based salons - please enter the Home Salon of the Year category instead.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Once the entry deadline has passed on 10 March 2024, all entries will be judged and five finalists in this category will be announced on Monday 15 April 2024.
These finalists will be 'mystery shopped' between April and July; a 'shopper' will book in for an appointment and provide a report on the service to Scratch Stars judges. This report, alongside the initial entry and social media/website platforms will be assessed by the judging panel against a number of criteria on a scoresheet.
These scores will be tallied to determine the winner of this category who will be announced at the Scratch Stars Party on Sunday 21 July 2024.
