MOBILE NAILIST OF THE YEAR

This category is for a nail professional that has been working predominantly on a mobile basis in the UK or ROI since before 1 February 2024, and gained a recognised nail qualification on or before this date (12 months ago or more).

Entrants to this category are astute nail technicians that spend 70% or more of their working life performing nail services on a mobile basis; visiting clients at their convenience, whether at homes, in offices, or as a nail technician on a photo shoot.

They deliver an unrivalled nail service to their client regardless of location and manage their business – from stock to timings - effectively to show that their skill isn’t compromised by being ‘on the move’. They market their business effectively and offer clients a fantastic treatment experience.

JUDGING

Once the entry deadline has passed on 10 March 2025, all entries will go through a first round of judging, and five finalists in this category will be announced on Friday 18 April 2025.

These finalists will be 'mystery shopped' between April and July. A 'shopper' will book an appointment and provide a report on the service that Scratch Stars judges will then evaluate. This report, alongside the initial entry and social media/website platforms will be assessed against a number of criteria on a scoresheet. Scores will be tallied to determine the winner of this category who will be announced at the Scratch Stars Party on Sunday 6 July 2025.

Answers must be given in less than 300 words. Text over 300 words will not be read or considered. Please do NOT use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate your answers. Any entries have more than 20% AI influence will be disqualified.
