SumUp and Treatwell have announced a new partnership that will digitisation of the payment process for Treatwell Partners – beauty businesses working with the online beauty and hair booking service.

With the partnership, payments can be now taken via the Treatwell Connect app and processed by SumUp. The digitalisation also aims to help reduce admin for beauty business owners and offer a smoother payment process to customers.

Treatwell exists to help our partners – the salons, spas and businesses that make up the beauty industry – thrive in an era of unprecedented digital innovation,” states Madeleine Raynel, UK country manager of Treatwell. “By building the most advanced beauty booking and management platform, and teaming up with leading tech companies like SumUp, we help our partners turn fundamental shifts in consumer behaviour into immense opportunities to grow and prosper.”

“Our mission is to empower businesses worldwide no matter how unique, small or mobile,” Marc-Alexander Christ, founder of SumUp. This passion to support and help entrepreneurs thrive is something we share with Treatwell and this partnership is a step towards making 25,000 Treatwell merchants Europe-wide succeed by offering them card acceptance.

“Accepting card and NFC payments is a chance for small businesses to target more consumers, potentially growing their revenue, but it lets them do it in their own way and at their own pace.”
