Townhouse salon launches #BeautyForUkraine effort to help fundraise & support

Scratch Stars Nail Salon of the Year 20/21, Townhouse, has launched #BeautyForUkraine, a 24-hour fundraiser to support those affected by the conflict with Russia.
On Tuesday 8 March, Townhouse will donate 100% of all revenue from its Knightsbridge, Fitzrovia and Milton Keynes location to UNHCR Emergency Appeal for Ukraine.
Townhouse is appealing for other nail and beauty businesses to join the #BeautyForUkraine initiative to raise funds. The initiative has already seen over 40 beauty businesses sign up across the UK, Ireland, France, USA, Abu Dhabi and more!
A spokesperson for Townhouse comments: “Anyone who wants to join should pledge to donate their revenue from Tuesday 8 March should use the tag #BeautyforUkraine.
“They should also comment on our post so we can promote their fundraiser. We want to show that the industry is strong and a force to be reckoned with. We think this is an incredible and humbling story about the beauty industry uniting for an important cause and showing the resilience of small business owners in an industry that was massively impacted by Covid-19.
“Nails can’t change the world, but together we can make a difference.”
