Lisa Wells, founder of the Lisa’s Army charity, will be hosting a ball to raise funds for those affected by cancer.

Lisa, an educator for INK London, was diagnosed with bowel cancer in late 2017 at the age of 32, shortly after giving birth to her second daughter. She reveals: “When I was first diagnosed with cancer I set up Lisa’s Army; a massive fundraiser to raise money to help with my children’s future, knowing that I won’t be here to see them grow up. I was blown away by the support I received.

“As time has gone on, I have been keen to ensure that my legacy is so much more. I want my girls to remember me and what I have achieved, so Lisa’s Army is now a charity that serves to help others suffering with, or affected by cancer. We want to provide makeovers for those that feel like they have lost how they look due to cancer, as well as personal shoppers for those whose bodies have changed so much due to the disease. The charity also aims to support days out with friends and families, to bring a smile on peoples’ faces and give them wonderful memories.

“This all needs support, so we are hosting the Lisa’s Army Splash Of Pink Ball as a fundraising event.”
