Ivana Prokic has scooped first place in Scratch’s annual photographic competition.
After a recording breaking amount of entries of 127 this year, the top three and winner of the new Voter’s Choice award were revealed live at Olympia Beauty.

- 2nd – Oksana Smirnova
- 3rd – Eloise Nom Chong
- Voter’s Choice – Kylea Wherry
“It has been an incredible year for the competition,” reveals organiser, Kat Hill. “We saw a huge increase in the number of entries, from all corners of the globe.
“Ivana’s winning entry truly captured the judging panel; the beautiful composition of the shot, the piercing eyes of the model and striking red nail design saw it score extremely highly.
“The introduction of the Voter’s Choice accolade also saw the competition reach far and wide, with Kylea’s entry receiving an astounding total of 418 votes.
“Congratulations to Ivana, Oksana, Eloise and Kylea – and congratulations to every single competitor. Thank you all for an incredible competition this year!”
The judging panel scored the entries, but looking at a criteria including originality and execution of concept, instant impact, clarity of the photograph and nails, use of colour and lighting, nail finish and design, model choice and styling. With the score accumulated, the top three entries can be unveiled.
The top entries each received a cash prize and certificate at Olympia Beauty, with the winner scooping a trophy, supersized print of their image and feature in Scratch.
