Semilac celebrates presence in 200 UK nail & beauty salons

UV Hybrid nail polish brand, Semilac, has revealed that more than 200 salons across the UK are now officially using its products, less than two years after launching on British soil.
The company, which originated in Poland, is admired for its product – which claims to combine gel, nail polish and UV technology to create beautifully strong nails that last up to three weeks.
Semilac manicures are now available at salons in Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and right across England, with a good concentration in the Midlands.
“Word is spreading fast that Semilac is a great salon quality nail product, especially when it comes to durability, colour range, personal service and fast delivery of stock,” comments Semilac UK CEO, Monika Shine. “It’s becoming so popular that we are working on franchise model options so that managers can sell our products in Semilac branded salons.”
Semilac launched in the UK in 2016 and had reached 120 salons by the beginning of this year. The brand is aiming to be in 300 salons by January 2018. Salons that officially register to stock Semilac enjoy a 12% trade discount compared to the online price.
Jackie Burke, who owns Nailworks in Coventry, comments: “Semilac has a huge range of modern colours, and the brand is constantly bringing out new shades and products which are really relevant to the time of year. The durability is very popular with our clients and the six nail technicians in my salon all love the easy brush application and how well Semilac cures on the nail.”
The Semilac Academy launched earlier this month, with training sessions for nail technicians being held at the salon headquarters in Solihull, West Midlands and at the Semilac Academy in Stockport, Greater Manchester. “The high pigmentation of Semilac makes great business sense because it means better coverage, fewer coats and less curing time, so we’re sure that it will soon become a top brand in the competitive UK beauty industry,” reveals Semilac UK academy director, Rebecca Abernethy.
