Up close with Salon System & its treatment offerings

This week, I hotfooted to the super-cool collaborative creative space, Hunter Collective, in Farringdon, London, for an exclusive Salon System showcase event.
I was met with a glass of bubbles, before taking a peek at what was on show. Each corner of the studio saw a different area of Salon System’s beauty offering, including nails, lashes, brows and waxing. Accompanying each area, Salon System’s experts were on hand to share their tips, advice and expertise.
The event looked to introduce or reintroduce beauty professionals, salon owners, session stylists, as well as select press and bloggers, to Salon System’s wide range of products. This year has seen a variety of launches across the brand’s categories, so the event played the perfect host to the new additions. Walking around the room, I was really struck by the huge variety of products available under the Salon System name – as well as the talent in the experts.
The new range of Gellux Minis were being demonstrated by Julie-Anne Larivière, who was also offering guests manicures with the Gellux line of gel polish and chrome-effect nail art powders. Rachel Gribble was also on hand to share advice. While, stationed by warming pots of wax, Andy Rouillard was on hand to talk through the Just Wax range, including new additions that saw Andy collaborate with Salon System to create.
Set up by a expansive table bearing Salon System’s huge range of lash and brow products, Ruth Atkins was on hand to offer lash and brow make-overs. I took a seat at Ruth’s station, who expertly applied Naturalash Strip Lashes in 116 for a subtle yet fluttery look.
The team from Training Solutions, the exclusively appointed training agency, were on hand to talk through the different training options available for all the product lines and professional systems.
The event also saw the chance to catch up with some friendly faces. I managed to pap Sophie Harris-Greenslade, of The Illustrated Nail, and Marta Nagorska of Furious Filer.
With bubbles to hand, a buffet of tasty treats and a plethora beauty treats lining every wall in the room – what better way to spend an evening?
