At-home beauty and wellness marketplace, Secret Spa, has launched Solo, an app for freelancers working in the personal care sector.

Solo offers a platform tailored to various aspects of a freelancer’s business, from online consultation forms to a travel time calculator, booking system, marketing tools and a professional website.

“Solo is the next chapter in our mission to reshape personal care around individual professionals. Over 60% of the workforce are self-employed, and ultimately clients build incredible relationships with these entrepreneurs,” comments Rider Latham, CEO & co-founder of Secret Spa and Solo.

“Solo transfers the power to the individual by enabling them to build a distinct business whether they offer bookings in a salon, at a client’s home, or both. The pandemic saw 10% of salons close, so going into the current economic crisis, it is more important than ever that individual professionals take control of their business with Solo.”

The company is offering a three-month free trial for the first 1000 freelancers who can join the waitlist at www.getsolo.co. After the trial, the Basic subscription is £10 per month and the Premium subscription £20 per month.
