After a winning weekend at the Scratch Stars Party, sisters, Lucy Price-Marshall and Jessica Price, headed back to the nail desk to tend to the nails of Olympics dressage competitor, Becky Moody.

The pair, who are based at Huddersfield salon, Nailspa: winner of Nail & Beauty Salon of the Year in the Scratch Stars Awards 2024, created matching nail looks for Becky and groom, Kim Masson, who are representing Team Great Britain for equestrian dressage at the summer Olympics.

Having previously represented Great Britain on the international dressage scene, South Yorkshire-based Moody is making her Olympic debut at the Paris Games. She turned to Lucy Price-Marshall, Scratch Stars Natural Nail Specialist of the Year 2024, and Jessica Price, a finalist in the same category, for a themed nail art style.

The design, created using OPI GelColor gel polish, nods to Moody’s horse, Jagerbomb aka ‘Bomb’, who she bred herself and will be riding at the Olympic Games.

On her Instagram account, Moody posted pictures of the nails and wrote: “Thank you to the amazing @lucyrosenails and @jessica.nailsandbeauty of @nailspahuddersfield. These took nearly three hours and are quite literally a work of art. It’s no wonder you guys have too many awards for your mantlepiece.”
