Nail techs paint what brings them joy for Scratch Snap comp: winner announced

The winner of Scratch’s monthly nail art contest for February has been announced as Monika Ferreira of @mjallure_beauty.

In a showcase of talent, techs created nail designs inspired by theme, Things That Make You Happy, in the bid to win a prize from Light Elegance.

Entries were judged by Light Elegance UK co-owners & educators, Jojo Wickens and Leila Monroy, and Scratch deputy editor, Rebecca Hitchon. Jojo and Leila comment: “Animals bring us so much joy, whether it’s the comforting presence of a cat or the boundless energy of a dog. This design perfectly captures that happiness, with incredible detail and artistry that truly stood out to us.

“It’s a beautiful tribute to the pets that boost our serotonin and fill our hearts with love.”

The winner, Monika Ferreira, has scooped Light Elegance’s Happy Vibes neon collection in either ButterCream and Glitter Gel, or P+ Colour and Glitter Gel Polishes (depending on qualifications), as well as the LEDdot Gen4 Lamp.
