Polish nails skills at Disneyland Paris education event

A retreat-style seminar weekend for nail technicians is set to take place in Paris next spring.
Taking place 25-27 April 2021, Nailed in Paris will see six top class mentors join nail professionals in Disneyland Paris.
The retreat sees two nights in Disneyland Paris with access to the theme park, as well as a day of intensive nail-focused mentoring with competitions.
Brought to you by international educator and award-winning nail artist, Lauren McBride, the idea of a seminar in Disneyland was spawned during lockdown when Lauren posted a nail picture showcasing her Disney character art.
“The idea for the Nailed In Paris event came about after I shared some of my character nail designs in some of the nail groups on Facebook,” confirms Lauren. “I was inundated with requests to teach people how to do this so I, along with my husband Stuart, set up a workshop group.
“This was back in April and by mid-June the group had swelled to 1800 members and growing daily. As part of the workshop group, I presented a weekly FB Live to discuss all things nails where I received lots of requests to do a nail retreat once lockdown was over.
“As the Disney character painting had sparked the creation of the workshop group, we thought it would be an excellent idea to offer an event at Disneyland Paris and Nailed In Paris was born.”
Currently hosting two sponsors Nailchemy and Crystal Parade, the event presents five further well-known UK-based nail experts: Sam Biddle, Rebecca Isaac, Kirsty Meakin, Michelle Brookes, Melanie Lewendon. Each host a session during the nail retreat.
There are 150 places available – with half already booked.
