29 February, Hotel de Ville, Paris.
Models including Bella Hadid walked the runway for the Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood showcase in Paris for autumn/winter 2020. The collection – which saw bold shades paired with pretty ruffled textures and chunky accessories – accentuated an edgy yet feminine ethos.
The Queen of nails met the Queen of quirky, thought-provoking fashion as Marian Newman led the nail team for the event at Hotel de Ville. Supported by nail techs Jennie Nippard, Amy Oldale, Rachel Furr, Nic Hills, Charli Jepson & Veronica Westin, Marian planned the nail look to effortlessly complement the ethos, Sick Madame.
Sponsored by nail brand, Peacći, the nail look involved applying a tip to the model’s nails to lengthen, before shaping to a slight point. Two coats of a nude hue were then added to suit each model’s skin tone, with shades used including Naked and Deepest Mauve. Texture was added to the nails by gentle pressing the second coat of colour before it dried.
Make-up, led by Isamayer Ffrench, was sponsored by MAC and presented a dewy skin finish with additions of glitter, and hair styling was led by Sam McKnight.
