Aiming to inspire beauty lovers alike and share a brand’s fascinating history, OPI’s co-founder Suzi Weiss-Fischmann has revealed her story in the form of a book.
Entitled I’m Not Really a Waitress: How One Woman Took Over the Beauty Industry One Color at a Time, the book reveals Suzi’s life story. It also details how the brand was transformed from a small dental supply company into one of the most recognisable beauty brands to professionals and consumers alike.
Full of inspirational advice and colourful wisdom, the book reveals how the brand famed for its catchy names and trend-led colours went from strength to strength with Suzi at the helm. The book itself takes its title from one of OPI’s iconic shades.
“I’m excited to share my story with you,” reveals Suzi in the book’s promotion video. “I wrote I’m Not Really a Waitress to share my journey of immigrating from Hungary to co-founding the world’s number one professional nail care brand, OPI.
“I truly believe if I can do it, anyone can. If you have an idea, and a passion to pursue it, you can succeed. This book will give you insight on how I found fulfilment and how you can too.”
I’m Not Really a Waitress is now available to purchase via booksellers and online.
