OPI x Converse: A Colourful Collaboration

The Scratch team was lucky enough to receive an invite to one of the brightest events this season.

OPI has teamed up with footwear company, Converse, to reveal a new, collaborative nail and footwear collection. With six new summer bright nail tones, the launch sees colour-matched Converse One Star slides and Chuck Taylor All Star Hi and Ox trainers – all inspired by electronic dance music.

The collection was launched at an exclusive event at Converse HQ in London, where myself and Helena was welcomed with bursts of bright colour.

The room revolved around a bright nail bar, seeing the team from Blow Ltd and session stylist, Jenni Draper, on hand to polish guests in the new shades. I was instantly drawn to the shade Dance Party ‘Teal Dawn, while Helena selected V.I.Pink Passes, complete with a few hand drawn stars.

As well as the new shades, the latest launch from Converse was on show: a variety of footwear styles in the same bright hues. Each style matches one of the shades in the OPI collection, while also seeing OPI’s logo emblazoned on the back and the shade’s name too.
