OPI celebrates the culture of Milan with 12-piece autumn nail colour collection

OPI has sought inspiration from Italy’s cultural and fashion capital, Milan, for its autumn 2020 nail colour shades.

The 12-piece Muse of Milan collection is available in three formulas; Nail Lacquer, Infinite Shine and GelColor, depending on the desired wear time.

“For more than two decades, OPI has taken women around the world with its destination-themed collections,” comments OPI co-founder & brand ambassador, Suzi Weiss-Fischmann.

“When we first conceptualised this collection, we travelled to Milan for inspiration. We ate fresh pasta, spent hours walking the city streets, and drank Campari and orange juice while checking out the incredible street style. We had no idea the hardships and changes Milan would soon be facing due to the global pandemic.

“Through this collection, we proudly support and honour Milan, a magical city that showed its loving spirit even at the height of the coronavirus outbreak.”

The shades feature variations of vintage-inspired taupes, terracotta and burnt orange, while dark teal gives nails a retro feel.

Classic denim blues are reinvented with shades ranging from icy blue to peacock blue, and Milan’s façade of industrial grey and shiny steel comes together to inspire gunmetal hues both with and without shimmer. Floral tones in dusky, rich variations of iris, lilac, heather, and mulberry finish off the range.
