After 14 years as co-founder and director of Nouveau Lashes, Bridgette Softley has stepped down from the role, with co-founder Karen Betts leading the role of managing director.

Bridgette hones a long and successful career in the beauty industry and has been instrumental in founding and nurturing the Nouveau Lashes brand. During her time at the company, she created the LVL lash treatment and expanded the brand’s international network to 42 countries across the globe. She also recruited the brand’s first celebrity ambassador, Michelle Keegan, and was honoured that Nouveau Lashes received the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade.

“I am immensely proud of what we have achieved at Nouveau Lashes and that I leave the brand as a global leader in lash treatments and products,” Bridgette comments. “I know the future looks very bright for Nouveau Lashes and I’m pleased to leave the brand’s future in the safe hands of my friend and colleague, Karen Betts, who will now take it onto the next stage of its journey.”

Karen will oversee the development and implementation of a longer-term strategic plan for the brand. She comments: “On behalf of myself and everyone at Nouveau Lashes, I’d like to thank Bridgette for the many years of work she’s put into building the brand we have today.

“She’ll be greatly missed and she leaves Nouveau Lashes in a great position, upon which I’m confident we will continue to build even greater success in the future.”

Bridgette leaves Nouveau Lashes to pursue her charitable interests and as a leader in the permanent makeup field she will continue to treat clients in her numerous clinics across the UK.
