No7, the Boots own-brand skincare range, has partnered with beauty tech company, Revieve, to bring consumers a personalised skin analysis in the comfort of their own homes.
Visitors to Boots’ UK and Ireland websites can access the Personalised Skin Analysis service, an AI-powered self-diagnostic tool that analyses users’ skin and provides tailored recommendations to suit their skin type and needs.
To use the services, customers can take a selfie before answers a few questions on their skin type and personal skin concerns to receive personalised advice and recommendations for No7 products, in a bid to offer customers the same level of service they would receive from consultants in-store, at-home. The tool analyses the user’s skin against a library of over 300,000 images, providing them with measurements of eight key skin concerns.
“Now more than ever, we want to be able to offer our consumers the same high level service online as is offered in our stores, should they not be able to get to store,” comments Katie Swift, UK marketing director.
“We are so excited to partner with Revieve as their technology enables our consumers access to discovering the right products for their skin, paired with a personalised experience from the comfort of their own home.”
Sampo Parkkinen, CEO of Revieve, added: “The ability to provide consumers with a personalised online experience is the future of the beauty and wellness experience.
“No7 is the ideal partner to welcome in this next phase due to their skincare offerings, groundbreaking industry research and ability to adapt the ever-changing needs of their customers.”
