So, what is the Nail Those Profits at Sea Cruise you ask? Myself and Hazel Dixon asked the same when we heard about it a few years ago. In May last year, Akzentz educator & distributor, Gina Silvestro, came to the UK to deliver Akzentz education for the new educators. Gina told us all about it – and, well, we just had to go!
The experience sees a seven-day cruise setting off from Miami, heading towards the Caribbean and Dominican Republic, combined with education, nail networking and fun! Hazel was asked to join the education line-up, alongside Gina Silvestro, Ami McClure and Traci Dungan to name a few. It was a no brainer – we were going.
We gathered a few more troops, including my nephew, Konnor, and HD educators, Kym Moody and Danielle Cragg, to join in with the fun.
Day 1
After an attempt at packing (and leaving enough room for shopping and a goody bag), we set off for an overnight stay at an airport hotel at Heathrow.
We boarded our 10 hour flight to Miami, before heading straight to our beach hotel for two nights before embarking on the cruise. We calculated that this was the best way to ensure that any flight delays would not affect our boarding time as missing the ship would cost a small fortune. This also gave us some time for shopping and sightseeing!
We board tomorrow to begin our nail cruise. I’ll keep you updated…
