Here at Scratch, we love keeping up to date with anything fun happening in the nail industry! These are our top 5 nail tales of the week…
1. Tiktok or tech-tok?
TikTok phenomenon, Chase Hudson (aka LILHUDDY), took to his 11.7 million Instagram followers to announce the release of his Glamnetic collab, bringing out his own range of 10 gel nail stickers! Notorious for his unique nail designs, this feels like the perfect collab for the social media sensation.
2. Take charge of your manicure!
Feel like your social battery needs recharging? Nadiya Ilysm (@ilysmnails) is back with another weird but wonderful manicure, moulding an actual iPhone charger head into the acrylic nail of her index finger! Painting a yellow charging symbol for added effect, we are obsessed with this electric creation!
3. Me-at the sausage roll inspired manicure
Leeds nail studio owner, Freya-Poppy Bowden, went viral with her Greggs sausage roll manicure. Using acrylic, the tech sculpted the cult favourite snack into a charm attaching it as a nail piercing.
4. Disney-hand Resort
Disneyland is opening a brand-new nature inspired spa, including four manicure/pedicure chairs for the ultimate relaxation experience! The perfect solution to treat tired feet after hours of exploring!
5. Lizzo talk about those 4-inch nails!
Eri Ishizu is the talent behind Lizzo’s extra-long, extra-glam nails for her new “Rumors” music video. Revealing the Swarovski embellished cover nails took two and a half hours to create, the tech also created another white set for the video to co-ordinate with feature artist and nail queen, Cardi B.
