To celebrate 40 years of CND™ – and to honour the brand’s long-time fans, CND™ has brought back five of its most iconic shades, available for a limited time only.
The CND™ Iconic collection – featuring Company Red, Spike, Jiggy, Pointe Blanc and Satin Sheets available in Shellac only – celebrates classic style and sophistication, and is designed to ignite some cherished memories.
To celebrate this one-time launch, Sweet Squared, UK distributor of CND™, has unveiled a campaign in partnership with Scratch. It features Sweet Squared’s co-founders, Samantha & Samuel Sweet, on the front cover of the January 2020 edition, and photographs of industry professionals selected by Sweet Squared to present each colour. Here, we profile educator and nail artist, Fee Wallace…
MEET FEE WALLACE
Fee has an enviable fan base of nail professionals and is well known and respected for her educational videos, which are viewed by nailists all over the world. She has been immersed in the nail industry for 22 years, after being inspired by her mum, Fiona.
“When my mum, Fiona, turned 40, she decided she was going to start her own business. She did a nail course with CND™ but I had known about the brand before then, as she had been getting her nails done professionally with a CND™ educator for a number of years,” Fee reveals. “I used to go to the salon with her when I was a teenager and found it so exciting.
“When I saw that nails involved being artistic, I knew I needed to get involved.”
Fee credits her most iconic moment as being asked to join Global Team CND™. “It had been an aspiration of mine for some time,” Fee continues. “I attended CND™ Bootcamp when I was 21 and Samuel Sweet was lead bootcamp trainer. There were about 50 of us attending from all over the world and from day one, I thought ‘I want that job’. I worked tirelessly to make that happen and so when I made it into Global Team CND™, it was a highlight.
In her role as an educator, Fee trains new and existing nailists to be the best they can be. “To educate is to do something very important with, and for, people,” she reveals. “It is such an honour to be involved in the progress of an individual and teach them a skill that will help them to transform their life.
“Being part of the CND™ team offers the feeling of being part of a very cool club, with an enviable connection to high fashion.”
Fee wears CND™ shade Satin Sheets from the Iconic collection, available via Sweet Squared.
