Extravagant, theatrical style and eccentric doll-like dresses framed Richard Quinn’s dream house for his London Fashion Week AW20 showcase, balanced with a stunningly subtle nail look.

Lead nail technician, Sylvie Macmillan, decided on a classic sheer nail to complement the exuberant collection. Each of the nude shades used were specifically handpicked by Sylvie on the day of the show to complement each model’s skin tone and nail bed tone.

“I wanted to keep the nail look really simple and beautiful,” says Sylvie. “Richard’s collection is so lavish and full of colour, texture and shape so I really wanted to work with the collection create the perfect balance. We used the incredible range of CND Vinylux nudes such as Bouquet, Powder My Nose, Romantique and Satin Slippers to create a polished and gorgeous look. We then topped it off with the CND Vinylux Gel-Like Effect Top Coat for added shine and luxury.

“Figuring out what compliments someone’s hands can be just as satisfying as doing the crazy, outrageous designs. CND have such a great range of nude shades, so we really were able to choose the exact tone that worked for the individual.”
