Lewis Capaldi shows love for nail pro’s portrait nails

Scottish singer-songwriter, Lewis Capaldi, has become as much known for his hilarious social media posts and videos as he has his music.

One post that truly stands out was on the 22-year old’s Twitter feed, where he wrapped a towel around his head and sported a quirky pair of sunglasses to celebrate the success of his song, Someone You Love.

The post quickly went viral and has over 50,000 ‘Likes’ to date on the platform, and nail technician Chloe Middleton, a fellow Scot, drew inspiration for the post to create a Lewis themed nail design – which was quickly picked up by the singer.

“I encapsulated pictures of Lewis Capaldi in my nail enhancements,” comments Chloe, who goes by the Instagram handle @nailsbychloem. “My followers ended up tagging him and so he ended up seeing the nails, and subsequently reposted them on his Instagram story.

“I now have almost 2000 ‘likes’ on my photo of the nails. They’ve even been turned into a meme!”
