Kent nail training & product supplier earns prestigious Trading Standards mark

Nail and Beauty Excellence, a nail salon and training business with its own range of professional nail products, has been awarded the ‘Buy With Confidence‘ stamp from Trading Standards UK.

It is the second nail brand in the UK to achieve this milestone: an independent accreditation provided by local authority Trading Standards services to show potential customers that a business is honest, trustworthy and offers good customer service.

The Buy With Confidence scheme involves a rigorous and voluntary audit of a company’s operations, with a focus on product safety, training standards and customer service. Nail and Beauty Excellence owner, Jade Barber, invited Trading Standards to assess the business, and comments: “The process took around eight months, with the business under the microscope to ensure its operation at a high standard. Suggestions were made for change, with proof required of these changes. There were a number of audits, meetings and emails: more than I expected, but the team is delighted to have earned this mark.

“The Trading Standards Buy With Confidence stamp builds trust and credibility with customers, and signals that the business adheres to strict guidelines and high standards, and that its products or services are reliable, safe and of excellent quality.

Jade founded the Nail and Beauty Excellence product line in 2018, fuelled by passion, dedication and a deep love for the nail industry. She released her first range in 2020, following rigorous testing. “I wanted to control the ingredients, ensuring safer and more personalised products for customers, and to share my love for nails with others in a meaningful way,” she comments.
