House Of Lady Muck, a stylish nail business known for CND treatments and nail art, has opened in Topshop, Oxford Street.

The brand, known as HOLM, was founded in East London in September 2017 by Laura Southern, a former fashion industry buyer who has worked with ASOS, Arcadia and Thread.

HOLM has boasted pop-ups in Farringdon and Mare Street Market with Gizzi Erskine and now offers ‘No Mucking About’ express manicures and pedicures, ‘Lady Muck’ CND Shellac treatments and ‘Holm Girl’ Vinylux treatments in Topshop’s flagship.

“I have always been passionate about style and business,” reveals HOLM founder, Laura Southern. “As a self-confessed nail obsessive, I have had decades of first-hand experience in salons watching the beauty market evolve.

“It was this passion that led me to see a gap in the market for a space that offers as much warmth and chat as it does style.”

As Laura watched nail art gain momentum, she realised that her friends outside of the creative industry needed subtle artistry to suit their day jobs and launched HOLM. The brand offers looks including negative space art, ‘Dot Cotton’ dots, ‘Walk The Line’ line work and ‘Get Your Tips Out’; minimal French manicures in colour-pop pastels.
