Cry Charity Mix

Award-winning Bournemouth tech, Lauren McBride, has teamed up with Crystal Parade to launch a special charity crystal nail art mix and craft kit.

Tiffany Andrews

The craft kit, which features over 300 Swarovski, Preciosa and Zodiac crystals, cabochons and pearls, is in honour of Tiffany Andrews, who lost her life aged 15 in April 2019 to sudden heart attack – despite having a healthy heart and no signs of illness.

Every penny from the sale of the kit will be donated to Cardiac Risk In The Young (CRY), a charity that raises awareness of sudden adult death syndrome.

“The colours in this craft kit have been chosen by Tiffany’s family and each colour has a meaning behind it,” Lauren reveals. “We wanted to make a unique mix of colours and shapes as Tiffany would often say ‘it’s ok to be unique’ and was never one to follow the crowd.”

The kit includes:

  • The Zodiac Light Siam Hearts as Tiffany is in our hearts.
  • Golden Honey – because Tiffany brought sunshine to everyone she knew.
  • London colours. Red, black, smoky grey and silver, because London was one of Tiffany’s favourite cities and she has a large London canvas in these colours above her bed.
  • The Preciosa black teardrops – representing the tears cried.
  • Emerald Green – as Tiffany had beautiful green eyes.

The Tiffany Craft Kit also includes a 4oz tube of Gem Tac (donated by supplier, Mark Wilson), a pick up pencil, Crystal Ninja work mat and triangle sorting tray. There are 36 Tiffany Craft Kits available to buy. A 100-piece nail art mix is also available to purchase.

“We hope that you will use this kit to create something very special and to remember Tiffany, her family and all of the other young people who have lost their lives to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome,” Lauren adds.

For every Tiffany Craft Kit sold, Crystal Parade will donate £15 to Cardiac Risk In The Young. To make an additional donation to the cause, click here.
