Stars from the BBC series, Glow Up, joined the Airbase Pro Team to practice their airbrushing make-up skills.
The television series, hosted by Stacey Dooley, saw 10 aspiring make-up artists compete in challenges to be named Britain’s next make-up star. With eight episodes, the series explored all angles of creativity and technical make-up application, with Ellis Hill crowned the winner.
Ellis and fellow Glow Up stars Tiffany Hunt, Leigh Easthope and Belinda Chatterton were invited by Carolyn Deacock, head of the Airbase Pro Team, to gain some knowledge and scrub up on their skills throughout an intensive training day covering airbrush handling, from airbrush control to dexterity.
The famous four got to work applying all they had learned, including mixing Airbase Aqua paints, trying drop shadows, using different ‘props’ as stencils, trying out freehand templates, spraying unicorn patterns and trying out Airbase Aqua in the hair.
“I’m delighted with the level of skill the team demonstrated at the end of the day,” says Carolyn Deacock. “It was great to support this creative process as it was realised with an airbrush.”
