After London, New York and Milan, the AW25 Fashion Week has concluded in Paris, finishing the season with a stylish bang.
Over the past weeks, we’ve seen intricate and daring nail art designs, including nail piercings and embellishments, but the Parisian nail choices have been all about colour. Here are the hues to note for the AW25 season…
Green nude
Expect pastel blue-green hues to take over autumn/winter 2025 nail colour requests, as seen on CasablancaⒸ models. Sporting a sheer turquoise colour, the nails offered the perfect subtle pop of colour. Session tech, Alex Feller, was behind the look, and shared behind-the-scenes photos to Instagram, describing the colour as ‘green nude’.

Glossy black
Is there anything more sophisticated and stylish than a glossy black manicure? Designer brand, Givenchy, thinks not, as it called on manicurist, Ama Quashie, to create the understated look for its models.

The manicures complemented standout pieces, including gold metal bags and giant jewel and pearl tops, contributing to the design house’s impressive creative vision for the AW25 season.

Matières Fécales made its Paris Fashion Week debut with black glossy talons, which were made more extreme with a curved structure and the undersides of the nails painted vibrant red. Nail artist, Lora De Sousa, matched the atypical nails to the brand’s renowned otherworldly makeup styles and anti-conformist clothing.

Hot red
A cult classic nail colour choice, Alexander McQueen is ensuring the staple hue continues in popularity into this year’s autumn/winter season. Session manicurist, Ama Quashie, kept nails short for the brand’s catwalk and finished the true red look with a glossy top coat.

Matching extravagant fluffy coats and contrasting green ruffle garments, the hue was cleverly used to enhance the design house’s collection and contribute to the overall creative vision of the event.

Sheer pink
Timeless and versatile, sheer pink hues returned to the catwalk at the AW24 Ganni show. Nail artist, Eri Narita, was called on to create the minimalist finish for models.

Meanwhile, international session manicurist, Ella Frances Gordon, created a similar finish on the Zuhair Murad models, using Glossify products.

Manicurist, Lauren Michelle Pires, added star decals atop a sheer overlay shade for the Off-White models’ nails, describing the brief on Instagram as ‘skin-toned and star nails’.
