Geordie Shore stars, Charlotte Crosby, Chloe Ferry and Sophie Kasaei, were among attendees at an event hosted by Glitterbels in Manchester, 23 June.

Glitterbels co-founder, Annabel Maginnis, opens DreamFest

DreamFest commemorated the launch of the nail brand’s DreamCure Lamp, which has been rigorously tested to ensure a dreamy full cure of Glitterbels products, while being a stunning addition to the nail desk.

Held in the ballroom at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel, Glitterbels, in association with Scratch and ABT Insurance, served up a variety of immersive and educational experiences, welcoming around 400 attendees over the course of the day.

Members of the Glitterbels education team were on hand to guide visitors, who entered past the Glitterbels mascot, a white and pink unicorn, before entering a pink and white dreamland. Team Scratch hosted a media hub, where guests could walk their nails down a manicure runway, pin their career dreams on a board and pose next to a largeversion of the June 2024 Scratch front cover, featuring Glitterbels co-founder, Annabel Maginnis.

The ‘Glitterbels Getaway’ area saw guests have fun in a ball pit and view the brand’s bold summer 2024 Hema Free Gel Polish collection, Glitterbels Getaway. As they walked around the venue, they could explore the brand’s highlights over its seven years in business, enjoy pink sweets and treats, and read about the evolution of the DreamCure Lamp, which is the first of many electrical nail tools to be released by the brand.

A shopping area saw attendees snap up new products and essentials, while industry aficionado, Marian Newman BEM, answered questions at a Nail Clinic. ABT Insurance shared a special offer for attendees and spoke about its accreditation, and Glitterbels co-founder, Annabel Maginnis, set up at the Art Assembly, where she created dreamy nail looks for Geordie Shore stars including Charlotte Crosby.

And there was more – as goodies could be won by spinning the a prize wheel, and pros could try out the DreamCure Lamp with Glitterbels products at the Demo Desk, and learn all about competitions from the awards area.

Scratch hosted the main stage, and editorial & partnerships director, Helena Biggs, interviewed Glitterbels founders, Annabel and Elliott Maginnis, as well as Marian Newman, before the Nail Boss Awards champions were announced and presented with unicorn-shaped trophies. The day closed with generous giveaways to attendees within the room, which included a salon refit and acrylic powder bundle.
