Eleventh Hour Beauty is the new online platform that helps hair and beauty businesses fill empty slots, and customers find last-minute appointments, and launches today with a #StandWithSalons campaign led by brand ambassador Olivia Bowen.
While all salons are currently closed and self employed professionals are unable to work due to Covid-19, Eleventh Hour Beauty is encouraging hairdressers, beauty therapists and nail technicians to sign up to the website ready for when they begin working again, to help future-proof their business. Businesses can also list ‘catch-up’ appointments to keep in touch with clients during these difficult times.
The concept
Eleventh Hour Beauty seeks to pair customers wanting last minute appointments with salons offering them. The platform is based on a fixed monthly subscription fee with no hidden costs or commission, and there is no limit on the amount or type of treatments offered. Salons determine the price of each treatment and take payment direct from the client.
Beauty professionals can decide whether or not to accept the potential client, as salons give clients a rating just as the client gives a rating to the salon or service.
Potential clients join Eleventh Hour Beauty for free, and the launch is being backed by a full consumer PR campaign with the platform’s brand ambassador: entrepreneur and reality TV star, Olivia Bowen.
Former beauty therapist, Abigail Fletcher, founded Eleventh Hour Beauty. “While we are all going through this hugely difficult time, we didn’t want to postpone the launch of Eleventh Hour Beauty – in fact we think it’s more vital than ever that we are all prepared for when the time comes to go back to work,” says Abigail.
“Profits and businesses have already taken a huge hit and the last thing we need is further damage from no shows once businesses are operating again. I’ve launched #StandWithSalons with Olivia to ensure that we keep promoting our industry to the public and they will be ready to come back when we are.”
Salons and self-employed professionals interested in joining Eleventh Hour Beauty are being offered an 11-week free trial, to start whenever they wish once they are open/working again.
