Customise Nimue treatments with SuperFluids range

Derma-cosmeceutical brand, Nimue Skin Technology, has launched its SuperFluid range.
The range sees five super concentrates to be used to customise existing Nimue professional treatments.
Each of the SuperFluids are a super concentrate of a specific active ingredient and can be used to treat a client’s specific skin concerns. Each product has an ultra-thin microcapsule to ensure penetration, even distribution and absorption of the active into the dermis. The range allows therapists to work with a high concentration of active ingredients without causing a reaction to the skin, meaning no ‘downtime’ for the client.
“As well as customising existing professional treatments to each and every client’s skin classification, Nimue therapists can now treat a client’s skin based on how it presents in that very moment in time,” says Victoria Sargeson, Nimue brand manager for UK distribution partner, Sweet Squared. “Perhaps they are treating a client with acne-prone, problematic skin that is unusually dry due to a change in season? With the SuperFluid concept, we’re equipping therapists with products to treat both the overall skin concern as well as any temporary complaints – such as dryness, in this example.
“This innovative product line allows for an element of ‘play’ in therapy to deliver a tailor-made service, with the additional commercial benefit of being able to charge more for a treatment by incorporating SuperFluids into current in-salon offerings.”
The Nimue SuperFluids range comprises:
- Nimue Retinol SuperFluid: treatment of fine lines, wrinkles and age spots. For clients whose primary concern is ageing, this SuperFluid is focused on the repair of lines and wrinkles.
- Vitamin C SuperFluid (micro encapsulated): treatment of hyper pigmented skin/dull complexion using Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) to improve skin balance.
- Prebiotic SuperFluid: treatment of problematic and acne-prone skin. Recommended for skin that had a compromised skin barrier due to poor lifestyle, which influences microbial balance.
- Transdermal NAD (nicotinamide adrenaline dinucleotide) SuperFluid: treatment of dull skin with signs of wrinkles and sagging.
- Cyanoacrylate SuperFluid: treatment of sensitised and inflamed skin. If there is inflammation present within the skin, the long-term effect can be premature ageing. Cyanoacrylate not only helps with the skin sensitisation, but also photo-ageing effects as it completely blocks the formation of light-induced oxidative stress of ROS (reactive oxygen stress).
