CRYSTAL NAILS hosts International Educators training event in Madrid

Crystal Nails Spain played host to the eighth annual Crystal Nails International Educators training event in Madrid. Overseen by Crystal Nails elite international master educators, Gabriella Kovács and Agnes Sebestyén, it was the biggest event to date with representatives from the UK, Spain, Italy, Germany, Finland and the Netherlands.
The event is a five-day workshop, designed to determine competency in technical skills and design abilities, plus in-depth product knowledge and teaching aptitudes. There are also examinations in the categories of design, as well as the brand’s acrylic, gel and CrystaLac systems.
With each category, there is a type of certification determined by the examination scores: land below 70% and you get an attendance certificate; score between 70% and 90% and you are awarded international educator title; and if you score above 90%, you are awarded the title of master international educator. If you achieve master international educator in all four categories then you achieve the highest qualification of absolute master international educator. All such educators have to re-sit the assessment every three years as routine to maintain educator standards.
Five nail techs from the UK Crystal Nails team were in attendance – Karolina Tryc, Paulina Zdrada, Karina Perematko, Gemma Lambert-Lewis and Amanda Hawtree-Taft. Karolina, Paulina and Karina had already achieved the status of absolute master international educator, but nevertheless retained their titles. The week also saw Gemma and Amanda reach absolute master international educator for the first time.
“My initial aim was to learn more about Crystal Nails as a brand, the products and their techniques. To come away with the absolute master international educator certificate is a dream come true that still hasn’t sunk in!”, exclaims Gemma.
Fellow team member, Amanda, says, “Achieving absolute master international educator is easily the proudest moment of my nail career to date. To be a part of the UK absolute master educator team is a dream come true and a privilege.”
