Christina Jenkins, co-founder and director of The Eyelash Design Company, has announced her retirement after a long and fruitful career in the beauty industry.
Pictured left with co-founder, Beverly Piper, the duo founded the Lash Perfect brand under the EDC umbrella, and have since grown the Brow Perfect, Hi Brow, Lash FX and Brow FX brands.
Christina has always been instrumental in every stage of brand development, from working on product formulations with EDC trusted suppliers to creating marketing campaigns. Prior to founding EDC, Christina worked as as director of sales for Matis and product director for GM Collin, each for over 10 years, and has utilised her skills to successfully market EDC treatments, products and training while forming relationships with press publications.
She started The Eyelash Design Company from a small living room in Essex with just a select few eyelash extension treatment products alongside Beverly Piper, and now distributes products and trains therapists in over 35 countries.
“I would sincerely like to thank everyone who has supported The Eyelash Design Company since its launch in 2006,” Christina comments. “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in building the EDC to be the award-winning, international company that it is today – this could only have been done with the hard word and contributions from the entire EDC team and press publications that have helped us to become a success.
“A huge thank you is for Beverly, who made it all possible and is the best business partner and friend. I have loved working with the team and will miss The EDC, but am looking forward to some well-earned time off!”
Working together with Beverly and Phil Marsh (general manager) and a strong management team, exciting plans have been put into place concentrating on the success and growth of The Eyelash Design Company for the future.
