Christian Louboutin pop-up nail bar pairs polishes with cocktails

Christian Louboutin marks its move into the beauty industry by creating a bespoke nail bar pop-up in Paris from 17 June – 7 July 2018.

The Mandarin Oriental hotel will play host to the unique beverage-and-manicure experience, which will see guests being treated to a manicure in one of the 10 shades that make up the new Christian Louboutin Pop collection. Each nail polish shade is paired with a signature bespoke cocktail, which will be available for customers to enjoy after receiving their manicures at the nail bar.

Cocktails include the orange L’Escatin made with carrot juice, pineapple, peach syrup and ginger, the pink Bengali made with vodka, lemon and raspberry puree, and the blue Baraboum made with curaçao, vodka, Saint Germain elderflower liquor and champagne: all created to match the bold and vibrant nail colours on offer.

The 30 minute Christian Louboutin manicures are available Monday to Friday from 5pm – 8.30pm and Saturday from 4pm – 8.30pm in the discreet atmosphere of a lobby alcove at the hotel and, afterwards, guests will be invited to the hotel’s tranquil garden to sip on their signature cocktail.
