CEW has announced the winners of its 2018 CEW Beauty Awards – which has seen Crack Sealer for Happy Feet from the Margaret Dabbs Bare Feet range scoop Best New Hand, Foot or Nail Care Product category. The win follows the brand’s 2017 scoop of the same award for its Cracked Heel Balm from the same range.
Professional skincare brand, Elemis, scooped two awards – Best New Bath and Body Product for its Life Elixirs Fortitude Bath & Shower Elixir, and Best New Everyday Facial Skincare Product for its Pro-Collagen Marine Cream SPF 30.
The awards were revealed at the Winners’ Announcement Lunch at the London Hilton on Park Lane and presented by TV personality, Myleene Klass. With Amazon and Marks & Spencer as headline sponsors, the awards this year received over 300 entries across 27 different categories.
The ceremony also saw the Charlotte Tilbury brand win an total of four awards. The make-up and skincare range recently revealed a professional membership programme. The award also saw a win for first time entrant, Fenty Beauty.
More than 400 CEW members and accompanying guests gathered to celebrate the awards at the London Hilton on Park Lane. Sponsored by Amazon Beauty, Marks & Spencer and Philips, the Beauty Awards welcomed a record number of 87 finalists across 29 categories.
Nail care brand, essie, was announced the winner of the £50,000 digital advertising campaign with Global Media and Entertainment.
“Today we had over 350 of the best and brightest of the beauty industry with us in the room,” said president of CEW, Caroline Neville. “The atmosphere was incredible and it was an honour to celebrate both the products and the individuals within the industry who have a true passion for beauty.”
