CEW makes changes to board of industry experts

Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) has announced the appointment of two new board members to its team of industry experts and has elevated two existing board members to the executive board.

Abi Wright, managing director and co-founder at www.spabreaks.com and Hanna Coonagh, managing director at Fleet Laboratories and DDD Limited board director, have been appointed as the two newest board members and will offer expert knowledge across a number of areas vital to CEW’s core values.

As well as acting as co-founder of www.spabreaks.com, Abi has a background in journalism and PR and is a multi-award-winning communications and marketing specialist. Hannah is a group main board director with over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical and beauty industry.

Additionally, existing CEW board members Sarah Brown, founder of Pai Skincare, and Julietta Dexter, founder and CEO of The Communications Store, have recently been elevated to become members of the executive board. As chairman of the Young Executive Board, Sarah provides insight into the UK manufacturing industry; while Julietta is described as being instrumental in CEW’s mission to acknowledge the importance of the beauty industry for the British economy.

Caroline Neville, MBE, and president of CEW, says, “As an organisation we are committed to reviewing and strengthening our board by recruiting senior women who can bring us the skill sets we need. It is crucial that our board comprises of women who can ensure we being to our membership the most up to date information available from experts.

“From large scale events such as the CEW Beauty Awards and the Achiever Awards, through to the launch of new programmes such as the Young Executive Programme and on-going mentoring programmes and newsmaker events, we want to offer the most beneficial programme for every CEW member at every stage of their career.”
