British Beauty Council launches beauty brand competition

The British Beauty Council has partnered with Covent Garden and World’s Global Style Network (WGSN) to reveal a new competition – Next British Beauty Brand.
On 13 September, brand representatives will be invited to give a five minute pitch about the brand to the judging panel, followed by a 10 minute Q& A.
A panel of judges consisting of senior executives from Harvey Nichols, WGSN, Covent Garden and more will see these fledgling beauty brands and their founders or representatives at 18 Floral Street, Covent Garden, WC2E 9DS.
Subsequently decide which brand they feel is the Next British Beauty Brand.
The prizes include:
- a year’s subscription to WGSN Beauty to help give a young brand insight into trends and predictions
- a pitch in Covent Garden that is offered bespoke to the winner
- a listing at Harvey Nichols Beyond Beauty in Knightsbridge
- mentorship from an array of judges that include marketing, PR, finance, development & technology.
The winner will also benefit from leveraging the judges contacts and experience, too.
