British Beauty Council has announced its partnership with leading student affinity network, UNiDAYS for 2023.
This partnership will work to support the British Beauty Council’s mission to solve the challenges facing the beauty industry and its key growth pillars, specifically the Future Talent Programme, which is dedicated to ensuring clear and diverse beauty career pathways are promoted to young people.
As part of the patronage, Paul Kingsley, chief financial officer and member of the executive team at UNiDAYS, has been appointed to the British Beauty Council’s advisory board.
Speaking on his appointment, Paul said, “I’m thrilled to be playing a role in this new partnership with the British Beauty Council. UNiDAYS enables the student experience, and this collaboration demonstrates our commitment to an industry that is highly valued by our student network. It’s a pleasure to be working again with Millie Kendall OBE and to have the opportunity to work alongside such an influential and inspiring group of industry figures.”
The patronage also includes UNiDAYS’ sponsorship of British Beauty Council’s recent Value of Beauty Report 2023, which reveals the economic impact of the personal care industry, supporting a total GDP contribution of £24.5 billion in 2022.
“The Value of Beauty report demonstrates the uniqueness of the british beauty industry which champions education and entrepreneurship across typically under-represented demographics,” comments Jessica Rose Hewitt, UNiDAYS’ global category leader for beauty.
“The industry’s modern approach to business is crucial to attracting the next generation of contributors to the beauty industry, which we look forward to being a part of through this partnership and our support of the council’s Future Talent Programme.”
“We greatly admire UNiDAYS’ commitment to young people and enabling them to be their best selves in education. The British Beauty Council’s ambition is to ensure the beauty industry is recognised and valued by all consumers, and the student generation is core to this. We’re elated to have UNiDAYS join our esteemed patrons in aiding our mission of ensuring all industry sectors thrive,” adds Millie Kendall O.B.E, CEO at the British Beauty Council.
