BCI OFFERS 10% off microblading course for beginners
By Helena Biggs | 30 April 2017 | Feature, News, Training
Beauty Concepts International is offering Scratch readers an exclusive 10% off its LCN Microblading Beginners course.
Held in various locations across the UK, the course involves a period of pre-study, three-and-a-half days in the classroom and six weeks of case study practice.
While in the classroom, students are taught the following:
- Anatomy and physiology including the skin and face, lymph system and immune system
- Health, safety and salon hygiene
- Client consultation
- Equipment
- Colour theory, including identifying skin tones, choosing colours and tones, mixing colours and controlling colour performance in the skin
- Pain control
- Measuring and positioning brows using the ‘Golden Ration’ calculator
- Treatment application
- Marketing techniques
To train in microblading, students that do not have a recognised make-up certificate must first complete the BCI Training Essential Make-Up course.
An ideal service option for nail techs looking to tap into the growing demand for brow treatments, microblading takes up to 40 minutes to perform and creates a natural brow look lasting for up to two years. Unlike semi-permanent make-up, which involves the use of a machine, microblading requires a hand held tool and is therefore a cheaper service to invest in.
