Unleash your creativity with NSI Glitter Base for nail art

NSI has launched Tech Gel Glitter Base, a thin and clear art gel that can be used for a variety of custom nail art designs.

Mix the glitter base into your favourite glitters or NSI Polish Pro to create totally unique combinations, or candy ball features for nails.

Glitter Base cures to a solid hold, making it an ideal tool if you wish to cover the nail with rhinestones and bling.

How to create a glitter mix

Mix Ratio: Two parts Glitter Base to 1 Part Sparkles

1. Using an opaque jar, add NSI Secrets Sparkles. You can use one or a combination of colours to make your own unique blend.

2. Squeeze out the Tech Gel Glitter Base into the jar so that there is a ratio of gel to glitter of at least 2:1. You need to ensure there is enough Glitter Base for it to cure.

3. Using your brush, or a metal tool, mix the gel into the glitter until it’s evenly mixed and distributed. 

Application to the nail

1. Using a #5 Touch Tip Kolinsky Brush, pick up a small amount of the gel mix. Apply to the nail in polish style strokes then cure (30 seconds LED, two minutes UV).

2. Apply Essential Seal over the nail and cure. Once cured, remove the tacky layer with a nail wipe saturated in cleanse.
