Zoe And Kat At Opi Mexico City Launch

To celebrate the launch of OPI’s spring/summer 2020 nail collection inspired by Mexico City , Kat and I headed to The Conduit, a quirky yet exclusive members’ club in London.

With cacti dotted around the room and upbeat music playing, delectable Mexican food and cocktails were available to eat and drink while looking at the collection, which was displayed in its entirety on a large pink stand in the centre of the room.

Kat and I were lucky enough to be able to have our nails painted with shades from the collection by Blow Ltd nail tech, Cornelia Ioannou. Kat selected for the bright pink hero shade, Telenovela Me About It, and I chose the gold Suzi’s Slinging Mezcal with an accent nail painted in the yellow Don’t Tell A Sol.

In the corner of the venue, a flower crown making station with a variety of colourful silk flowers could be found. With buckets of blooms to select from, we learnt how to create our very own crowns to take home.

The evening saw an enjoyable event, allowing us and fellow guests to get a flavour of the colourful, fun city that inspired the collection.
