A reminder of the full challenge brief:
NASNA Challenge 1: Stylishly Spooky
sponsored by CND.

For 45 years, CND has developed innovative nail products that help nail professionals build resilient sets with superior architecture. CND’s newest additions to the enhancement portfolio include Odorless Sculpting Liquid, Perfect Color Powders, Plexigel Color Builders and BRISA Glass. For the first ever NASNA challenge, CND wants to celebrate all things enhancements AND the Halloween season.

The task:

Use CND enhancement products (provided) to build a haunted house across five nails. The thumb is included in the five. While the thumb doesn’t necessarily have to have a portion of the house on it, there has to be some artwork on the thumb, as the challenge calls for five nails. Contestants must use a minimum of one of each of the enhancement products mailed to them by CND.

Videos must showcase these products being used. Contestants are free to interpret the haunted house theme however they see fit (haunted castle, mansion etc.) so long as they are demonstrating creativity and attention to detail.

To get in the spirit even more, contestants must also tell us a brief scary story in their video. The story doesn’t have to relate to the nail creation and will not be judged, it’s just a fun way for the judges to get to know each contestant — and who doesn’t love a good scary story?
