What are oyster nails, the pearlescent nail trend for 2024?

First, there was the mermaidcore nail trend of the summer, inspired by the live action film remake of The Little Mermaid, and now the trend has been reimagined with oyster nails. The style brings a pearlescent, colour-changing finish to nails, and further opulence can be added with embellishments and 3D elements.

The Beauty Pie 2024 Trends Report predicts oyster nails to be one of the top 10 trends for 2024, revealing that searches for the look rose by 161% in April to September 2023, compared to searches between October 2022 and March 2023.
