Wednesdaycore is trending for Halloween 2023: 20 Wednesday Addams nails to inspire

Premiering in November 2022, Netflix’s Wednesday introduced a new generation to the eccentric, macabre clan that is the Addams family and daughter, Wednesday Addams. As Halloween nears and with Wednesday set to return for season two, Wednesdaycore has become the latest trend to excite the fashion, beauty and nail world.
“Around 341.23 million hours of the first Wednesday series were streamed in its premiere week, setting a new record on Netflix for an English-speaking show. Whilst it aired almost a year ago, it doesn’t seem that the show is losing popularity – and fans are calling it Wednesdaycore,” comments Nick Drewe, trend expert at discount platform, Wethrift.
“The trend itself has seen a 4900% increase in Google searches, with ‘gothic fashion’ inclining by 194%.” The data, obtained from September to October 2023, shows that ‘Wednesday Addams make-up’ has also seen Google searches increase by 3500%.
