Unicorn Enchanted Forest: North America’s Star Nail Artist – Challenge 6 Entries

The top 10 North America’s Star Nail Artist  contestants pulled out all the stops for the final challenge of the season: to create a ‘unicorn enchanted forest’ themed nail design.

Sponsor brand, Glitterbels, sent competing nailists a huge product bundle, encouraging them to feature sculpted elements (using Glitterbels acrylic and builder gel) and hand-painted details (using Glitterbels Unbelievabel Gels). Their finished design had to incorporate at least two techniques, such as 3D work and chrome accents, or a mix of Unbelievabel Gel and builder gel to create depth.

The brief: Create an enchanting forest across five nails, filled with mythical unicorns, glowing mushrooms, sparkling streams and mystical creatures.

Contestants were required to add an unexpected twist, and use chrome on an element of their designs in a creative way to enhance the magical feeling. Materials (lights, fabric etc.) could be added to the designs, however they should not make up or mask more than 20% of it.
