Spring/Summer, Step by Step
This fun flower step-by-step by Rachel Mansfield has been created using the Magpie Beauty Sweet Treat Collection.
Step 1

Apply 2 light coats of Magpie Gel Colour in the shade Fresh as a Daisy. Cure and remove the sticky layer with Magpie's Prep and Dehydrate.
Step 2

Choose three colours. I used Magpie Gel Colour in the shades Sherbet Pip, Jelly Baby and Dolly Mix. Using your detailer brush, make a messy looking flower with small strokes and cure.
Step 3

Using your dotting tool and Gel Paint in White, make five big points for petals.
Step 4

Using the same shade, add smaller dots each side of the bigger dots.
Step 5

Using a striper brush, add a tiny bit of white and and drag a small line down toward the middle to create a petal, then cure.
Step 6

Add small random dots to fill the gaps and cure.
Step 7

Finish off with a topcoat - I used Magpie's Don't Be Tacky - and cure.
