Rose quartz wedding nails
Step by Step
Salon System nail expert, Jaz Moger, has created a rose quartz-inspired look for wedding season using GELLUX products, which are available from wholesalers nationwide.
Step 1
Start by prepping the nails. File to the preferred shape, push back the cuticle using GELLUX Handy Manicure Tool and remove the cuticle using GELLUX Erase Cuticle Remover. Buff the nail plate using the GELLUX Three Way Buffer and cleanse nails with GELLUX Prep + Wipe. Apply the GELLUX Fast Bond followed by one coat of GELLUX Cover Pink Base Coat and cure.
Step 2
Next, using a fine liner brush, randomly paint ‘wiggly’ lines of GELLUX Purely White horizontally along the nail. Do not cure.
Step 3
Then, dip a slightly thicker brush into the GELLUX Acetone and start to lightly dab the brush along the white line. The acetone will cause the line to ‘bleed’ a little. Once you’ve done this to every line, cure all nails.
Step 4
Next, apply a second coat of GELLUX Cover Pink Base Coat and cure.
Step 5
Wipe over all the nails with GELLUX Acetone. Apply GELLUX Stick-It-Glue around the edge of the nail and dab gold foil onto the glue.
Step 6
To finish, apply GELLUX Super Shiny Topcoat, cure and then wipe over with GELLUX Prep + Wipe. Apply GELLUX Nail & Cuticle Oil to finish.
