Rainbow daisy nails
Step by Step
INK London educator, Toni Larkin, has created this pretty pastel nail design finished with daisies.
Step 1
Apply a base coat and a coat of INK London i156 Retort White, curing each for 60 seconds between the layers.
Step 2
Using your pigments, dab a small amount into random sections of the nail until you have completely covered the white. I used INK London’s Neon pigments in the shades Rachel, Fiona, Clare and Laura plus Amy, each mixed with white pigment Audrey to create the softer pastel colours. Gently remove any excess pigment with a soft brush and apply Rock Light Plus topcoat, ensuring you have enough topcoat on your brush to ’float’ over your design to avoid dragging the pigments. Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 3
Apply a coat of i170 Eccentric glitter and cure for 60 seconds.
Step 4
Using a dotting tool, apply five white dots in a circular shape to begin creating a flower. Draw the centre of each white dot into the centre of the circle to create a petal shape. Once you have finished creating the petals, flash cure for 10 seconds. Continue creating flowers over the entire nail, flash curing between flowers to avoid smudging. Using i205 Bellatrix, apply a small dot of gold glitter into the centre of each flower. Cure for 60 seconds.
Step 5
Apply 2 coats of Rock Light Plus topcoat to seal your design and cure. Remove the inhibition layer.
