One stroke floral nail design
Floral, Step by Step
Terry Burciaga, global educator for American International Industries, show you how to creates this pretty purple design using the one stroke technique.
Step 1
Prep nail with EzFlow TruGel gel polish inLil’ Dress, cleanse nail then buff to have a porous surface.
Step 2
Place color desired for design on a parchment paper that is on top of a moist papertowel. This helps the color not dry as fast and keep a creamy consistency.
Step 3
When doing the one stroke method, place the brush half of one side of one color, then turn brush and place second color on the other half. To blend the colors, brush lightly on your hand to remove excess color from the brush. Using a paper or paper towel to remove excess color will dry out the brush
Step 4
Hold the brush at an angle and color the tip in on direction, let it dry and reapply in that same area to intensify the colour.
Step 5
Continue making petals in whichever angle and direction you want to create your flower.
Step 6
Add to your flower. Always reapply in the same area to intensify the colour.
Step 7
Add further detail, such as leaves and flowers to frame your design.
Step 8
To finish the design, outline with black to highlight the flower and leaves.
Step 9
Finish with EzFlow TruGel Top Coat, cure and cleanse with EzFlow TruGel Gel Cleanser.
