Spring may just around the corner, but autumn and winter have been the focus of late, with February 2023’s New York Fashion Week. As well as showcasing clothing, the event saw a variety of nail trends take centre stage – both existing, popular styles and new ones for the future season.

At the Rodarte show, lead nail stylist for Morgan Taylor, Danielle Candido, said: “The black grounds all of the majestic colours, bringing haute couture to a different level. It takes gothic and makes it royal. The shape of the nail reflects the plunging neck lines, angular designs and graphic eyeliner in linear shapes.”
